Career Development Series free, open to all community members

Want to develop leadership skills? Network with community leaders? Prep your resume for your next job hunt?

The University of Alaska Southeast Sitka now hosts monthly workshops focused on workforce development. Each month, participants can build upon or learn new skills that will help them advance their careers. This series is perfect for the current employed, students and interns, and those looking to enter the workforce or switch careers.

The events are hosted by UAS Sitka on the last Wednesday of each month, 6-7 PM. They are free and open to all community members. Snacks and beverages will be provided.

UAS is teaming with community experts to lead these workshops. Current partners include Sitka Community Hospital and the Alaska Department of Labor.

Can’t make it to the event? Sessions are live streamed on the UAS Sitka YouTube channel, and are available for reference afterward.
